University of Fort Hare Accommodation 2024-2025
The University of Fort Hare provides housing options for potential students who submit applications through their online system. There are 33 residence halls in Alice, with some organized in clusters. While each residence hall has its distinctive features, they all share a common objective of fostering excellence. In each area, there are staff and student leaders who oversee services and programs to enhance the overall living experience. For inquiries, the Residence Manager’s office is located in the administration building.
Living on campus provides students with the opportunity to fully engage in the University community, both academically and socially. This fosters a sense of belonging and facilitates the formation of long-lasting friendships. Additionally, staff members are available to assist students with various needs, promoting personal growth, responsibility, and accountability.
