REPORTS TO: Regional Manager
ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
The BAT South Africa is currently seeking a Territory Sales Manager to cover the Bloemfontein region. The role will be responsible for leading, managing, and equipping Sales Representatives within the defined area to achieve specific trade marketing and distribution objectives in line with the Territory Operational Plan. The role will require the coordination of brand and trade programs, the management of budgets, and the improvement of productivity and cost optimization of the territory.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE
- The successful candidate should possess a degree (preferably in Marketing/Business Management) or Grade 12 with Qualification, 3-5 years of relevant experience, and a valid driving license. Additionally, the candidate should have data interpretation and analytical skills, computer literacy, an understanding of consumer segmentation, profitability, pricing, product ranging, utilization of research, space management, and planograms. Good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to lead and influence others, are also necessary for the role.
